About the Speakers
Peter Toft
Peter toft is a professional horseman who has been involved with horses, most specially Arabian breed his entire life. He specializes on Endurance Riding on a full time basis for the past 14 years. Peter with his famous horse Electra BBP Murdoch won Team Silver Medal at the 2005 World Endurance Championship. Included in the team was Peter's wife Penny. All four team horses were owned and trained by Toft Endurance.
Toft Endurance, Australia's largest owner and breeder for endurance horses, have trained 9 horses to win World Championship Medals. Peter has won several National Championships and twice top ten ranked (fourth and sixth) at the famous Tevis Cup in California.
Dr. Brian Sheahan
Dr. Brian Sheahan BVSc MACVSc is an Endurance Veterinarian for 32 years and has practiced both in Australia and at international events. As a qualified Level 3 FEI Veterinarian, he is capable to officiate 4 star endurance events. He has been appointed as the Course Director for FEI and AERA Veterinary Accreditation. Among his special areas of interest is lameness in performance horses.
